The Couture Draping Course is a hands-on learning space for fashion designers, pattern cutters, and serious students who want to understand how clothes are really made.
This course focuses on construction, fabric behaviour, and three-dimensional thinking — not just sketches, blocks, or theory.
Much of fashion education focuses on ideas, images, and concepts. While these are important, they don’t teach you how a garment actually comes together on the body.
This course is built around draping and construction — working directly with fabric to understand proportion, balance, fit, and form. Draping allows you to see problems and solutions immediately, rather than trying to calculate them on paper.
I’m Arena, a Senior Creative Pattern Cutter working in luxury fashion. My background is rooted in studio practice, where precision, fabric understanding, and construction are essential.
This course is a way of sharing how I work — through observation, draping, and careful decision-making — with people who want to build garments properly and understand the craft from the inside out.
